Eddie and I took our talents down to Charleston, South Carolina directly after our roller coaster of a stop in Myrtle Beach. I've always loved Charleston (aka I've been once and it was awesome), so I had extremely high hopes for the trip. The shitty weather continued and we got a couple days of rain, but that didn't stop us from eating like kings. 

We went to Poogan's Porch and Hall's Chophouse, both of which were absolutely fantastic. Hall's is officially at the top of my leaderboard for steakhouses, although my leaderboard pretty much consists of the very much not a steakhouse 99 Restaurant. I have zero class and need to learn more about fine dining. We also went to Lewis BBQ on our last day which was absolutely fantastic. 

We then braved the storm to head out onto the water to go shark fishing. Even though I'm from Cape Cod, I have never really been fishing before. This was just about as exhilarating as it gets for Ole Beersy, and the boys each caught their own shark. Me and Eddie's sharks were kind of pussy sharks but they were still sharks nonetheless. Jetski caught himself a nice big one which was awesome to see. 

Charleston was an awesome place to be for a weekend even without nice weather and I highly recommend it if you're considering it as a bachelor party location. Onto Lake of the Ozarks!
